"Nyaya Manthan 1.0" National Trial Advocacy Competition held at Centre of Excellence School of Law, Gujarat University. Justice Ashutosh Shastri, a retired judge of the Gujarat High Court, inaugurated the event, emphasizing that trial advocacy competitions are the best medium for students to understand court ethics and the judicial process. The two-day event, organized under the leadership of Dr. Bhavesh Bharad, saw participation from 12 prestigious law college teams across the country. The competition focused on developing practical legal skills, logical reasoning, and courtroom discipline among law students. Prominent legal experts and retired judges served as observers, evaluating the participants on their depth of preparation and clarity of arguments. This initiative serves as a vital platform for bridging the gap between theoretical legal education and practical courtroom reality.
