ज्ञानचैतन्य – “The Living Consciousness of Knowledge”

The Centre of Excellence, School of Law, Gujarat University, joyfully celebrated Teachers’ Day 2025 under the inspiring theme “ज्ञानचैतन्य – The Living Consciousness of Knowledge.” The day was marked by a series of engaging, meaningful, and heartfelt activities that beautifully blended respect, learning, and fun.

Student–Teachers Activity

To honour the spirit of learning and teaching, 48 students stepped into the role of teachers, experiencing first-hand the pride, challenges, and responsibilities that come with guiding others. This transformative activity allowed them to embrace the essence of ज्ञानचैतन्य by turning learners into mentors.

Among them, 3 outstanding student–teachers were honored with shields and certificates, while all other participants received certificates of appreciation. The initiative not only encouraged leadership and confidence among students but also reflected the true meaning of living knowledge.

Faculty Treasure Hunt

Adding vibrancy and energy to the celebrations, the faculty members participated in an exciting Treasure Hunt, competing in four lively teams. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, teamwork, and cheer as teachers enthusiastically searched for clues across the campus.

The winning team was rewarded with exciting gifts, and the activity showcased that knowledge is not limited to books but is equally about joy, discovery, and togetherness. This fun-filled event embodied the essence of ज्ञानचैतन्य by highlighting the spirit of curiosity and collective learning.

Faculty Felicitation Ceremony

The celebrations concluded with a soulful Faculty Felicitation Ceremony. Students expressed their gratitude, respect, and love towards their teachers, acknowledging them as the true living consciousness of knowledge. Each faculty member was felicitated for their invaluable guidance, mentorship, and dedication to shaping future leaders.

To add to the emotions, a video clip capturing the highlights of the day was displayed, bringing smiles, joy, and heartfelt moments for both students and teachers alike. A joyous celebration of knowledge, mentorship, and shared learning, made truly memorable by the Academic Affairs Committee, COE, Gujarat University, with special guidance from Dr. Bhavesh H. Bharad (Coordinator, Centre of Excellence, School of Law) and in the gracious presence of Dr. Prateek Kanchan (Director I/c, School of Law, Gujarat University)

This closing ceremony beautifully reinforced the theme ज्ञानचैतन्य, reminding everyone that teachers are the eternal flame of wisdom and inspiration who continue to guide generations with knowledge, compassion, and values.
