રાસ-e-રમઝટ 2k25 – Navratri Celebration

The Centre of Excellence, School of Law, Gujarat University, successfully organized “રાસ-e-રમઝટ 2k25”, a vibrant Navratri celebration, on 26^th September 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the college parking area.

The event was graced by the Guest of Honour, Hita Bhatt (District Court Judge, Gandhinagar) and Shruti Mehta (SRP Commandant at Naroda) whose presence added immense value and encouragement to the participants. The performances were evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges, including                 Dr. Richa Soni (Assistant Professor at Life Science Department) and                                                                            Dr. Duhita Lakhtariya (Professor, Polytechnic Ambavadi)

The celebration featured a colourful display of traditional Garba and Dandiya performances by students, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Gujarat. The program included various competitions, with trophies awarded in the following categories:

Dandiya Ratnam:

Gem of Dandiya [Male: Priyanshu Tripathi (Sem 7) & Female: Ritika Thakor (Sem 9)]

Sanskritik Paridhan Prabha:

Cultural Attire Radiance [Male: Suryabhan Giri (Sem 5B) & Female: Aarushi Singh (Sem 7)]

Bhakti Thaali Ratnam:

Gem of Devotional Thali- [ Rajvi Master (Sem 9)]

Dandiya Ratnam:

Faculty Performance- [Dr. Swati Shah]

Students showcased immense talent and enthusiasm through their performances, displaying elegance, coordination, and devotion. The Aarti Thali competition stood out for its creativity and spiritual presentation, while the cultural attire and Dandiya performances demonstrated the participants’ dedication to preserving tradition with flair.

The event witnessed active participation from students across semesters, creating a festive atmosphere filled with joy, energy, and community spirit. The celebration not only fostered cultural engagement but also strengthened the bonds between students, faculty, and the institution.
