Diwali Celebration

The Centre of Excellence, School of Law, Gujarat University, celebrated Diwali with enthusiasm and cultural warmth on 17^th October 2025 from 12:00 pm onwards at the Centre of Excellence premises. The event witnessed active participation from faculty members, students, and staff, creating a joyful and inclusive festive environment.

The celebration commenced with the traditional Deep-Prakash ceremony, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness. Faculty members and senior students lit the lamps together, marking an auspicious beginning to the festivities. The venue was beautifully adorned with colourful rangoli patterns, diyas, and decorative lights, enhancing the festive spirit.

Faculty members addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of festivals in fostering unity, positivity, and community bonding within the academic environment. As the celebration progressed, students and faculty joyfully burst firecrackers in an open, safe area, enhancing the festive mood and creating a sense of collective celebration. The activity was conducted with proper safety measures in place.

The event concluded with a delightful lunch for all attendees, providing an opportunity for informal interaction and strengthening connections among students and faculty.  Overall, the Diwali celebration at the Centre of Excellence was a harmonious blend of tradition, creativity, and togetherness, leaving cherished memories for everyone present.
